detailing kits advice

I'm trying to get into detailing a bit more seriously and keep my car looking fresh. I'm looking for a good all in one detailing kit that has everything I need for both the interior and exterior.

I know there are a ton of options out there, so I was hoping you all could give me some suggestions on what's worked well for you. Are there any brands or specific kits you swear by?

Any advice or "must have" products that might not come in a kit would also be greatly appreciated!

If you're diving into detailing, kits from Meguiar's, Chemical Guys and Griot's Garage are solid all-in-one options that cover both interior and exterior basics. Look for kits that include wash soap, wax or sealant, interior cleaner, microfiber towels and maybe a quick detailer spray. Must-haves outside kits often include a good clay bar for paint prep and a quality glass cleaner. Starting with these brands and adding a few specialty items as you go is a great way to keep your car looking fresh without getting overwhelmed.

When I first got into detailing, I grabbed a Meguiar's all-in-one kit, it had wash, wax, interior cleaner, and microfiber towels, which was a good start. I'd also add a good clay bar and dedicated wheel cleaner, since most kits skip those but they make a huge difference

Most all-in-one detailing kits are overpriced starter packs that pad margins with mediocre products; you're better off cherry-picking proven cleaners, sealants, and microfiber towels individually, quality always beats quantity in car care.
