For standards, how often or how long should the decontamination stage last? Polishing, wax and what not.

And favorite go to brands?

Decon stage usually takes me around 30 to 60 mins, iron remover and clay until the paint's smooth. Just enough to prep for polish without overdoing it. I lean on trusted brands like carpro, meguiar's, and collinite

I'm pretty sure it should be at least an hour. I don't know about that, it's just what my mechanic told me. Or maybe my situation was different because my Vios wasn't opened for a year.
