My wife drives a 2018 Kia Sportage and wants it cleaned up before our road trip next month. We live in Michigan, so the car has seen a lot of rain, pollen, and dog hair lately. I'm looking to get back into detailing and want to put together a simple starter kit from one brand, just to keep things easy. My budget is around $100, and I need something that covers paint protection, interior plastics, and upholstery. Are there any starter bundles that actually include the basics and won't leave me missing tools or products?

Hey! For a beginner-friendly kit under $100, I'd go with Chemical Guys or Plus Soap. They've got interior cleaners, microfiber towels, and paint protection, basically everything you need to get your Sportage road-trip ready

I'm glad to see there are a few all-in-one bundles out there. With our road trip coming up soon, I've been checking out the starter kits from Chemical Guys and Plus Soap like you mentioned. Do you think one of these is easier for someone who's a bit out of practice with detailing? I mostly want to protect the paint and need something simple to use.
