Solution on faded color on trims?

My dad's '91 BMW's trim is pretty faded. Is it possible to get it back to its original blue color without using paint? Tried scrubbing it every now then, not much of a difference though. What else can i do? any help is appreciated

Yes, you can restore it without paint. Carguys or Ceracote are trim restorers that bring back the original color. But first you will have to clean that area and then go by the instructions.

You could also try using a trim restorer or a plastic/vinyl cleaner specifically for faded trim, products like Meguiar's Ultimate Black or Mothers Back-to-Black can bring back some color without paint

Have you tried a heat gun or a plastic restorer like Solution Finish? They can bring back color without paint, you just gotta be careful with the heat

I agree with them, you might wanna try a trim restorer or even some plastic dye. No full paint job needed.

It is possible but then it's gonna be hard if you've got no experience on it. Are you willing to spend for a professional work done?
